Chapter 1
The Corporate Foundation
I spent 25 years in corporate technology. I started on the technical side, with servers, networks and architecture, and worked my way into leading the people and programs around them.
As Director of IT at b16 Solutions, I led teams delivering for clients like the Port Authority of NY/NJ, JPMorgan Chase and Rockefeller University. At Anthelio Healthcare Solutions, I ran a global team of 60 on a $30 million engagement supporting hospitals. At GovOS, I was Director of IT Operations, moving a SaaS business to the cloud and briefing the C-suite. My last corporate role was Technical Program Manager on a $90 million transformation across 846 sites.
Along the way I earned an MBA in IT Management from Western Governors University, on top of a B.A. from the City University of New York, cum laude.
That work taught me how businesses actually run. You need clear scope, clear owners, clear deadlines, and a system that doesn't depend on one person remembering everything. I didn't know it yet, but I was learning the exact skill set most new business owners are missing.
Chapter 2
Ownership Was Always the Goal
The career was good. But I didn't want to spend my life building someone else's company. I wanted to own something.
In 2019 I founded One Moment Logistics and ran it as Founder and CEO until August 2026. At our peak we ran roughly 80 delivery routes a day with 100 employees, with the drivers, vehicles, payroll and compliance that come with that. At that size nothing works if it lives in one person's head. You either build the system or the business runs you.
In 2022 I co-founded Thrive Homes, which provides services for adults with intellectual and physical disabilities.
Not everything I built worked. The ones that didn't taught me as much as the ones that did.
One Moment also taught me what it costs when someone else sets the rules of your business. It's a big reason everything we build at The Boss Maker is designed for you to own.
Chapter 3
What I Learned
Looking back, every time I've had real financial success, it came from the same two things: an established process I could follow, and a mentor who showed me the lane of least resistance.
Every time I struggled, one of those was missing.
That's when it clicked. Expertise alone isn't a business. The people I know with the most experience are often the most stuck, because nobody ever showed them the construct:
- PositioningWho pays, and for what
- OfferWhat you sell and what it costs
- MessagingWhat you say so the right person listens
- SalesHow interest becomes a client
- AcquisitionHow the right prospects find you and start a conversation
Chapter 4
Why The Boss Maker Exists
I built The Boss Maker so experienced professionals don't have to spend years figuring out those pieces the way I did.
We don't sell courses and disappear. We define the construct with you, build the system around it, and guide the execution. You bring the expertise. We bring the process and the lane.
