Refundable within 7 days of purchase if both of the following are true:
- You have completed at least two of the worksheets, prompts, or exercises in the kit.
- You can identify a specific section that didn't produce a usable output for your situation.
Email [email protected] with your order number and a one-sentence note on which section. Approved refunds process within 5 business days. We may ask one follow-up question to improve the product.
What qualifies as "completed at least two worksheets"
A worksheet is any prompt, template, or exercise inside a volume that asks you to produce output. Reading the introduction does not count. We may request a screenshot or short description of your output as part of refund review. We will not request your actual completed work product — only proof that completion was attempted.
What qualifies as "specific section that didn't produce a usable output"
- Worksheet 3 in Vol 1 asked me to identify a buyer archetype but the archetype list didn't include my industry.
- The email sequence in Vol 3 assumes I have an existing list, which I don't.
- The pricing formula in Vol 6 doesn't work for my recurring-revenue model.
General feedback like "I didn't get value" or "this wasn't what I expected" does not qualify — both are addressed by the free Boss Maker app diagnosis available before purchase. Use it. It exists to prevent the wrong tier reaching the wrong buyer.
Founder's Edition
The library portion follows the self-study rule above — 7 days, two completed worksheets, specific section identified. The included Founder's Review Call becomes non-refundable once scheduled. A scheduled call holds a calendar slot and turns away other buyers.
If the call has not been scheduled within 7 days of purchase, the full $997 remains eligible for refund under the self-study rule. Once the Founder's Review Call has been completed, the service portion of the offer is considered delivered. The library portion remains permanent.
Strategy Session & Implementation Review
Both products include scheduled time with a Boss Maker advisor. The refund rules reflect the cost of a held slot.
Cancel or reschedule with a full refund up to 48 hours before the scheduled call. Within 48 hours, no refund — the slot is held and other buyers are turned away.
Same 48-hour rule applies to the call portion. The 30-day async support window begins on first message from you to us and is non-refundable thereafter. If the async window has not started within 30 days of purchase, the full $1,200 may be refunded.
Reschedules with at least 48 hours' notice are free and unlimited within the active engagement window.
Chargebacks
A chargeback is a dispute filed with your bank or card issuer that reverses a payment without contacting the seller first. Chargebacks are appropriate for fraud, unauthorized charges, or seller non-response. They are not appropriate for change-of-mind, buyer's remorse, or refund-policy disagreements — those are addressed by emailing [email protected].
Filing a chargeback before contacting refunds@ may result in temporary suspension of access while the dispute is reviewed. We dispute chargebacks for delivered digital products using order records, accepted terms, and access logs.
If you have a refund concern, email us first. We respond within 1 business day. The refund policy above is designed to handle every legitimate request without escalation.
How the refund process works
Account-level limits
- One refund per customer lifetime. Across all Boss Maker products. If you've refunded once, future purchases are final-sale.
- Refunds cannot be issued on products purchased with an upgrade credit. The upgrade-credit mechanism already adjusts your pricing — there's nothing to reverse.
- Forwarding, sharing, or redistributing Boss Maker PDFs, companion folders, or any included material voids refund eligibility and may trigger a full account ban.
- Refunds, chargebacks, and dispute history are tracked at the email-address level. Repeated or pattern abuse across multiple email addresses or payment methods is grounds for a permanent purchase ban.
EU & UK customers
By completing checkout you expressly consent to immediate digital delivery and waive your 14-day cooling-off right under Consumer Rights Directive Art. 16(m) (EU) and Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 reg. 37 (UK).
This waiver does not affect your statutory rights for products that don't perform as described, that contain material defects, or where required by applicable consumer law. The refund rules above apply in addition to — not instead of — your statutory rights.
Policy updates
Boss Maker reserves the right to update this policy with at least 14 days' notice posted on this page and on the store page. Updates do not affect refund rights on purchases made before the update's effective date — your refund window is governed by the policy in force at the time of your purchase.
